I took a cab to Hai Bin Prawning last night and the cabbie was extremely friendly. He greeted me and then tried making small conversations with me. From "How old are you?" to "Do your parents always nag at you?" to the "You're still young, don't trust people so easily OK?". 

He said, "You're still young, don't trust people so easily OK? Must trust yourself. People these days always wear a mask. Fake, real- we don't know." I guess to some extent, he did make some sense to me. How often do we find ourselves trusting someone so easily only to have them stabbing our back in return? But I guess that's how life works, we trust the right people we trust the wrong people we fall and we get back up. Yes we fall and we pick ourselves up. 

But then again, this doesn't mean everyone out there is always wearing a mask. There are and will always be a few who will always be true to you. Those are the ones who will never turn their back on you and yes, those are the ones worth keeping for life. Keep them close X
