Angie's kitchen


1. Pandan Chiffon Cake (that didn't rise at all) 2. Crepes topped with Macadamia Nut Ice Cream 3. Momsie's breakfast - Scrambled eggs, toast, ham and sausages 


3. Momsie's breakfast (again) - Egg on a slice of toast and a cup of skimmed milk 4. Madelelines which the famz absolutely love 5. Grounded peanut bread and cinnamon rolls!!!! (PROUD MOMENT)


6. Failed macaroons (thank you everyone for the encouragement on instagram, I'm so touched) 7. Our last yusheng on the last day of lunar new year 8. Dark chocolate tart topped with hazelnuts 

It's the exams period and as much as I wish I could say I've been spending most of my time studying, I know it isn't true because I think I probably spend more time in the kitchen than on my laptop trying to cramp shit into my head but that doesn't mean I haven't been studying. I just take a short break every now and then to bake. Dad recently got me a new mixer and an oven and ever since then, I've been even more motivated to bake. The other day he was just randomly saying he's craving for bread so being the good daughter, I decided to wake up early the next day to bake grounded peanut bread and cinnamon rolls to thank him for the oven and mixer.

I've never been a big fan of baking bread because 1) it's such a tedious job 2) it takes up too much time but I did it anyway and holy crap the 2/3 hours of wait was totally worth the end results because my dad, mom and helper loved the grounded peanut bread and sisi loved loved the cinnamon rolls! Really gotta thank Lirong for her amazing recipe!
